Street poll: Should plastic bags be banned?
While other states have either banned plastic bags or forced charges at retail outlets to discourage their use, Queensland has only voluntary restrictions. The Greens say Australians use 7 billion plastic bags a year, many of which harm the environment.
We asked the people of Brisbane whether action should be taken on plastic bags in this state.
